MPT Upgrades Telecom Infrastructure in 3 Townships in Yangon For Improved Service Quality

MPT announced that, to enhance quality and provide better services, its FTTH, VoIP telephone services, auto-telephone services and B2B services will be upgraded with the optical line terminal (OLT) exchanges in Taik Kyi, Hlegu and Kawhmu townships in Yangon Region. This system upgrade is part of MPT’s ongoing commitment to improving network stability and delivering better service quality to its customers.

To facilitate the system upgrade, there may be temporary service interruptions for customers in the affected areas. These disruptions are expected to last between 15 minutes to 2 hours, depending on the location and schedule. MPT sincerely apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciates customers’ understanding and patience its valued customers during this necessary enhancement.
