MPT Upgrades Telecom Infrastructure in Yangon & Bago (East) Regions For Improved Service Quality

MPT announced today that, to enhance quality and provide better services, the existing copper cable system and its auto telephone, FTTH and VoIP telephone services and B2B services in following Towns, Yangon and Bago (East) Regions, will be upgraded with the optical line terminal (OLT) exchanges. This system upgrade is part of MPT’s ongoing commitment to improving network stability and delivering better service quality to its customers.

To facilitate the system upgrade, there may be temporary service interruptions for customers in the affected areas. These disruptions are expected to last between 15 minutes to 2 hours, depending on the location and schedule. MPT sincerely apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciates customers’ understanding and patience its valued customers during this necessary enhancement.
