Samsung Myanmar Donates Household Appliances Worth 1,400 Million Kyats to Earthquake-Affected Regions

Samsung Myanmar has been continuously working to provide support for the recovery of regions affected by a powerful earthquake that struck central Myanmar. This time, Samsung Myanmar has donated household appliances worth a total of 1,400 million kyats to organizations in need in the severely affected areas of Mandalay, Sagaing, Nay Pyi Taw, and Inle Lake.

Samsung Myanmar has distributed and installed household appliances such as TVs, refrigerators, washing machines, and air conditioners to various organizations and locations, including public hospitals, elderly care homes, orphanages, monastic education schools, pagodas, social relief centers, and airports. In April, Samsung Myanmar also provided free repair services for Samsung mobile phones and household appliances damaged during the earthquake in Mandalay and Nay Pyi Taw, inspecting and fixing them without any labor charges. Currently, to address the basic need for clean water in Sagaing, Nay Pyi Taw, and Inle Lake, Samsung Myanmar is also constructing and donating solar-powered water purification facilities.
