Developed technology and Android Operation Systems
Android Mobile OS was launched since 2007 November as Bet and it has been a decade year. The first Android 1.0 was launched in September 2008. Android OS is constantly updated by the Google and Open Handset Alliance (OHA). From the time of its introduction, a number of Android Operation System updates have been released. A new version was launched each year with more features due to the advancement of technology.
Android OS is also identified with the Application Programming Interface (API). If you have read tech articles and journals, you will find the usage of API. Application Programming Interface (API) is a computing interface for a system or software. It shows the system and the function of the software. The released years and the API of the Android OS are shown in the following table. 
The latest released one is Android Pie, the ninth Android OS. Google start launched on March 7, 2019. The first Beta version was officially released in July 2018 and start using in August 2018.
A recent released Android OS in 2019 was Android 10. Google start announced it on March 13, 2019, and the first Beta version started using it since that day with the name of Android Q. Up to 6 beta versions have been updated and each has new development and features. Google officially released the name “Android 10”, but some have also known it as Queen Cake, and Quince Tart. The official latest version of Android 10 was released on September 3, 2019.

Here are (5) highlight features of Android 10
(1) Live Caption
Video, Podcasts, and video that you play on your smartphone will automatically set up a live caption with a single tap. Wi-Fi and mobile data are not needed for this feature.
(2) Smart Reply
A suggested response about messages will be shown in Android 10. A recommended Action to reply when a friend sends a message. If the message contains an address, we can go to the Google Map directly and check the location.
(3) Security Updates will be available faster
Android phones are receiving regular security updates. However, Android 10 will get updates faster than usual. Google Play system update, Important security update, and privacy fixes will be sent directly to the Google Play and available to update like updating applications. Moreover, bug fixes will be available immediately.

(4) Focus Mode
The user can select and extract applications to get the full focus on work. In this case, the notifications from the selected application will not get full attention so that the user can pay more attention.
(5) Family Link
The user can now be able to control the kids using the internet to study, play games, and using the internet. Screen Time can also be set for a day. And the time usage of an application can be checked. The user can also manage the application and check the current location of the family members.
Google announced the 11th generation of the Android Operation System, Android 11 in February 2020. The first Beta version was released just on the day of the launch. The new features include New Permissions Controls and API Distinction Between Standalone.
