HUAWEI FILM AWARDS 2020 will be held which the video enthusiasts from Asia Pacific Region Countries can participate and win up to $10,000
HUAWEI Film Awards 2020 (HFA2020) will be held that all the enthusiasts who are interested in making videos, short films from all the countries in Asia Pacific Regions including Myanmar can participate.
That competition is held for the second time and the additional competition of NEXT-IMAGE Awards that Huawei is annually holding for photos competition. The competition will be held from today 18th December 2020 to 18th March 2021 (11:59 PM GMT+8) and the contestants can send their videos created and compete. As for the top prize, the contestants can get USD $10,000 and HUAWEI Mate 40 Pro as for other prizes.

As the short films created by the contestants from regional countries have come out with high creativity and content information, HUAWEI Film Awards (HFA) has become popular in a short period and been interested in its competition. In order to participate in the competition, the contestant has to compete with the video created with a high sense of creativity, captured with the smartphone camera that used Huawei’s advanced technology and not more than 10 minutes.
“At the time of being able to present the good quality contents with the mobile phones used nowadays, I am proud of being able to create a platform that the youths from Asia-Pacific regions can create their own creative skills and abilities with the use of Huawei Products and I would like to invite the youth enthusiasts to show up their splendid works to the world”, remarked by Mr. Andrew Garrihy, the Global Chief Brand Officer of Huawei Consumer Business Group regarding HFA2020.
At the time of being able to create and present the high-quality contents with the mobile phones, in order to review and judge the contestant’s videos made by the youths from Asia Pacific Regions, the international professionals will review and choose the best videos.

The summary of the competition format is ;
(Step-1): Videos can be captured and created with any Huawei phones.
(Step-2): The created and edited video has to be uploaded to YouTube with the “Public” setting.
(Step-3): Login to HUAWEI Community Portal.
(Step-4): Fill up the required data in the HFA2020 Entry Form and include the YouTube URL link.
(Step-5): Submit the video in time before 18th March 2021.
The competition period is-
Start Date for the competition- 18th December 2020
Last Date for the competition- 18th March 2020
The date of reviewing the contestants’ videos will be reviewed by the Judges- from 19th March 2021 to 18th April 2021.
Date of Results Announced- 19th April
