MPT Relocates Fiber Cable and VoIP Systems in Tachileik For Service Enhancement
MPT announced today that, as part of its commitment to enhancing service quality and reliability, it is upgrading its system and relocating its high-speed fiber cable system (FTTH) and 7-digit VoIP telephone services connected to the optical line terminal (OLT) exchange in Tachileik, Shan State (East). This relocation is necessary due to system upgrading and aims to ensure further improvement of our services, minimizing service disruptions and enhancing network stability for customers in the region.
The relocation is scheduled to take place on February 10, 2025. During this transition, customers using the high-speed fiber cable system (FTTH) and 7-digit VoIP telephone services may experience temporary service disruptions lasting approximately 10 minutes to 2 hours, depending on the assigned schedule.
