Samsung’s One UI 7 Update for Older Galaxy Devices Will Be Available Starting April 7
As Samsung Electronics continues to innovate and shape a new era of mobile AI, the company has announced that the long-awaited One UI 7 Official Update will be officially available starting April 7, 2025. This update will bring new Galaxy AI features to older Galaxy devices, enhancing their functionality.
The One UI 7 Update, which introduces Galaxy AI features, will first be available on the Galaxy S24 Series, Galaxy Z Fold6, and Galaxy Z Flip6 smartphones starting April 7. In the following weeks, the update will also roll out to other models, including Galaxy S24 FE, Galaxy S23 Series, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold5, Galaxy Z Flip5, Galaxy Tab S10 Series, and Galaxy Tab S9 Series, along with other compatible Galaxy smartphones and tablets.

The One UI 7 Update brings significant improvements and a smoother, more intuitive mobile experience for Samsung users. With a simplified and efficient design, it reduces visual clutter while enhancing usability. One of the key highlights is the introduction of the Now Bar, which enhances the Lock Screen experience with noticeable improvements.
The upgraded Galaxy AI features included in this update will improve productivity and creative possibilities. The AI Select feature allows users to quickly capture and save any on-screen content effortlessly. Meanwhile, the Writing Assist feature helps users summarize or edit text more efficiently. The update also includes Drawing Assist, which can instantly transform rough sketches into polished images.

In addition, the popular Audio Eraser feature, which debuted in the latest Samsung Galaxy S25 Series, will now be available on older models. This feature intelligently filters and removes unwanted background noise from recorded videos, providing a cleaner audio experience.
Moreover, the update integrates Google Gemini, an advanced AI assistant, allowing users to ask questions and get instant, AI-powered responses with just a tap.
