As a special promotion to reduce domestic money transfer fees, CB Bank will also offer free domestic money transfers this week. Customers can deposit cash at CB Bank branches in Yangon, Mandalay, or Nay Pyi Taw and transfer it to CB Bank customers in other townships using their NRC (National Registration Card) free of charge.
Domestic money transfer services using an NRC are now available at CB Bank’s branches as well as at CB Pay agents connected to CB Bank. CB Bank also stated that it continues to use the CBM Net System and CTS Clearing System between local banks to enable smooth transfers between customers who hold accounts at different banks, and that it will keep providing even better services going forward.
