ATOM Signs Agreement with Four Leading Educational Institutions to Support and Enhance the Skills of Future Youth through Internship Program

ATOM, Myanmar’s leading provider of 4.5G VoLTE services, has signed a memorandum of understanding with four top educational institutions, Gusto College, Matrix College, Chindwin College, and Strategy First Education Group, to implement a long-term internship program aimed at fostering the emergence of young professionals in the telecommunications and digital sectors.

The signing ceremony was held today, attended by ATOM’s executive officers, representatives from the universities, and heads of relevant departments. Leaders from Gusto College, Matrix College, Chindwin College, and Strategy First Education Group were also present, committing to strengthen collaboration between the industry and education sectors and to support the enhancement of students’ career opportunities.

ATOM will offer a three-month internship program to a total of 12 final-year students or recent graduates, selected based on predefined qualification criteria. Through this program, interns will gain valuable practical learning experiences and career opportunities.

During the program, interns will gain hands-on experience in a dynamic workplace environment, learning about telecommunications services and digital innovation. They will be guided by experienced professionals from various departments and will have the opportunity to participate in company events, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing programs. Additionally, the program will pave the way for interns to build professional networks. Upon completion, each intern will receive a certificate of participation, and future job opportunities may be offered based on individual performance.

ATOM’s internship program was first introduced in 2016 and has since been implemented in line with its commitment to nurturing outstanding young professionals and enabling them to secure sustainable careers. The program will continue to expand, involving more of ATOM’s departments and educational institutions, and creating opportunities for direct recruitment from internships to permanent employment.
