Huawei has unveiled its upgraded HUAWEI TruSense system to the world. Built around this innovation, the system marks another milestone in Huawei’s mission to bring users accurate, science-based health and fitness technology.
Huawei entered the wearables space 11 years ago, and has since shipped more than 150 million wearable devices worldwide, with over 520 million users on its Huawei Health app. According to IDC, in Q1 2024 Huawei ranked No. 1 globally in wearable device shipments, and has led the Chinese market for five consecutive years.

At the launch event for the HUAWEI TruSense system, Mr. Rico Zhang, President of Huawei’s Smart Wearable and Health product line, said: “TruSense is a major innovation achievement for Huawei, and a technology that keeps Huawei at the forefront of sensor technology for tracking health and fitness. This advancement in digital health will help users pursue a healthier lifestyle.”
As users around the world have become increasingly conscious of the importance of health, they’ve come to expect products offering ease of use, comprehensiveness, and precision in their monitoring capabilities. In response to this need, Huawei has unveiled the HUAWEI TruSense system, which integrates the company’s latest technology to monitor vital health data. TruSense is a new paradigm in digital health and fitness, built around six defining traits: accuracy, comprehensiveness, high speed, adaptability, transparency, and repeatable analysis.

To ensure long-term accuracy in continuous vital sign monitoring and to deliver faster results across different skin tones, wrist sizes, and weather conditions — each of which can affect sensor readings — Huawei has invested heavily in optical, electrical, and physical science research. Thanks to Huawei’s innovations, the accuracy of core metrics such as heart rate, SpO2, and blood pressure has been recognized by official industry bodies in the relevant health fields.
HUAWEI TruSense can measure over 60 health and fitness metrics, assess 6 major systems of the body, and even measure aspects of mental wellness. Its sensors monitor the user’s heart rate and autonomic nervous system data. This data is then analyzed by an algorithm that assesses the user’s mental well-being and stress levels, helping users enjoy the benefits of both a healthy body and a healthy mind.

The adaptability, transparency, and repeatable analysis of the HUAWEI TruSense system will help partners across every part of the global digital health ecosystem shape the future of health and fitness technology. In this domain, Huawei has collaborated with more than 150 partners across different fields, from remote healthcare to family health management, on pioneering research.
In the years ahead, the HUAWEI TruSense system will continue striving to enrich users’ lives with innovations in health and fitness science. The first new wearable products featuring the HUAWEI TruSense system will go on sale this coming September.
