Google has already rolled out its Gemini AI chatbot on the web version of Gmail Inbox. That feature, known as Gmail Q&A, has now arrived on the Android version as well. While Gemini AI chatbot access is being rolled out to Gmail Inbox on Android, Google has said iOS users will still need to wait a while longer.

With the Gmail Q&A feature, users can ask questions about their inbox, request specific details such as a to-do list drawn from an individual email, search for emails by sender name, find unread or previously read emails, and even ask for a summary of emails related to a particular topic in their inbox. This feature could turn out to be quite useful, since it saves time and effort when searching for something in your inbox that you can’t quite recall. That said, it isn’t available to everyone. To use Gmail Q&A, users are required to subscribe to Google One AI Premium, or to Gemini Business, Enterprise, Education, or Education Premium add-ons under a Google Workspace plan.
