ATOM marks 7th ICT Equipment donation to accelerate digital transformation in education and health
ATOM, Myanmar’s leading 4.5G telecom provider, has launched its first community initiative of 2026 by donating ICT Lab equipment to BEHS (Sub) Taman Chaung village, Ngaputaw township in Ayeyarwady. This latest contribution, valued at about 50 million MMK will directly benefit 600 students with essential digital equipment and skills to thrive in an increasingly technology-driven world.
ATOM continues its strong ongoing commitment to advancing digitalisation in the education and making sure every student has access to quality digital equipment that could uplift to them without any digital gap. Beyond the installation of fully equipped ICT labs with digital devices, broadband and one year of connectivity, ATOM continuously providing hands-on training and ongoing support together with ICT lab donations. This donation of ICT lab includes about 50 million MMK worth devices including laptops, computer accessories, printer and more.

For capacity building, ATOM has partnered with MCC to conduct a “Training of Trainers” programme. In addition, essential school supplies were provided to students and teachers as part of the donation initiative. By combining essential technology with professional educator support, ATOM is empowering local communities with a long-term vision for a digital future.

Since 2022, ATOM has invested 200 million MMK to equip ICT Labs in schools nationwide, benefiting about 10,000 students. ATOM goes beyond donations by providing ICT Lab equipment to help improve access to digital learning in communities.
