Short Films Created Exclusively with HUAWEI Mate 30 Pro Screened at Special Red Carpet Show
The Red Carpet Show of Short Films screened by Huawei Mate 30 Pro was held on 2020 January 19 at JCGV (Kan Thar Yar), Yangon. The two short films by HUAWEI Mate 30 Pro was shown at the Red Carpet Show of Huawei Film Awards. The first short film is “Unbreakable Bond” which is based on the event during World War II (Japanese occupation of Myanmar) and filmed by the creation of Director Arkar (Arkar Production).
The second one “Relive” is named and created by Director Wayne which showcase the life of a person going through changes in life and facing what life throws at you with hope, tenacity, and perseverance.

The event was graced by Huawei officials, special guests, famous celebrities such as Director Arkar, Aung Ye Htaik, Bella and Thiri Soe, Participants of HUAWEI Film Awards and members of the press.
Following the screening of the short films, a Movie Workshop was held where participating directors and talent shared their experiences in the creation of the short films using HUAWEI Mate 30 Pro smartphone exclusively. Participants of HUAWEI Film Awards also had a chance to learn about Mobile Photography and creating high-quality films and videos using smartphones.
Director Arkar (Arkar Production), one of the judges of HUAWEI Film Awards said “Being able to create high-quality photos and videos with mobile phones is the result of technological advancement. Films created by participants are of excellent quality. I sometimes have to wonder how these films can be created using a smartphone. It is in fact possible with HUAWEI Mate 30 Pro and today, I am proud to share the short film I created with the audience and participants.

Huawei Mate 30 Pro has already introduced the smartphone with the Myanmar Market since November.
Huawei will continue to promote Short Film Production and encourage and nurture enthusiasts with more events planned throughout the Asia Pacific region. The inaugural HUAWEI Film Awards encourage participants from the region to compete with short films created using Huawei smartphones. The aim of the HUAWEI Film Awards is to uncover and encourage raw talent from regional countries Thai, Myanmar, Malaysia, the Philippines, Vietnam, etc. Interested parties shall create and submit short films adhering to the rules and regulations of the HUAWEI Film Awards before 25th February 2019.
