Here’s what we could confirm in September 2026, and what’s actually available now if you’re trying to solve the same problem.
The app in our original article is gone
The app we covered, published under the package ID com.mtcr.it, is no longer listed on Google Play. We checked the listing directly — both by fetching the page and by loading it through a browser-identifying request — and it returns a plain HTTP 404, the standard signal that a listing has been taken down or the developer account behind it no longer exists. We could not find a reinstated version, a renamed successor, or an official statement from the developer explaining what happened. Motorcycles remain one of the most common ways people get around in Myanmar, so the underlying need the app addressed hasn’t gone away — the app itself just isn’t there anymore.
We also checked for a like-named replacement
A similarly named listing, com.mgg.motorcyclerepair, turned up in a search for alternatives. We checked that one directly too, and it also returns a 404. We’re noting this so readers don’t waste time chasing a dead link the way we nearly did.
Is there a current Myanmar-language motorcycle repair app?
As far as we could find through Google Play search, no. That’s a statement about what we could locate, not proof that nothing exists anywhere — app store search is not exhaustive, and small regional apps can be hard to surface even when they’re live. What’s actually available right now
The closest thing we could verify as currently live and maintained is Motorcycle Repair AI, published by a developer called OmarDevSolutions. We checked its Google Play listing directly: it has more than 5,000 downloads, was last updated on October 17, 2025, and works by letting you photograph a problem or describe it in a chat, after which it returns likely causes, part identification, and a rough repair cost estimate. It’s built for general motorcycle troubleshooting rather than for any one country, and — importantly for readers of our 2022 article — its interface is in English, not Myanmar language. If English isn’t a barrier for you, it’s a functioning option; if it is, it doesn’t really replace what the original app offered.

Beyond dedicated apps, video is worth trying. YouTube has a large volume of motorcycle repair content, including tutorials narrated in Burmese, and video walkthroughs of a specific repair are often more useful than a static app screen regardless of language. We’re not naming specific channels here because we haven’t verified any one channel is still active and accurate as of this update — search directly for the repair you need plus “ဆိုင်ကယ်ပြင်ဆင်နည်း” or “motorcycle repair Myanmar” and check the upload date before trusting the advice.
What this means if you found this page from a search
If you searched for the app we wrote about in 2022 hoping to install it, it’s not available anymore, and we don’t have a verified Myanmar-language substitute to point you to.
