MPT will host more than 70 Mobile Seminars for the year 2019-2020 across nationwide
Mobile Seminars will be hosted for the purpose of preventing cybersecurity and cyber abuse, tips for using mobile phones, regulations, tips for preventing of losing data without using, sharing information and understand the consumer’s attitude more fully and to be fully satisfied with the service, more than 70 events in the state and division across the country for the year 2019-2020.
Anyone can attend this event for free and it will be held in 70 locations across the country from October 2019 to March 2020. A press conference about this Mobile Seminar was held on 22 October 2019 at MPT Office in Yangon.

The signal of developing Telecommunication Technology in Myanmar and the rapid changing of using mobile phone mention not only risking the socio-economic standards of the people of Myanmar sharply but risking the danger of abusing among mobile users and cybercrime.
U Ko Ko Aung, Deputy Chief of Department of Economic Development of MPT-KSGM Joint Operations said “MPT will keep processing to improve mobile usage and services of all Myanmar Citizens. In this year, we will force on a new generation of younger people from the different communities as the standard of living outside of urban areas is developing significantly.”

Mobile Seminars which can attend for free will be held from October 2019 to March 2020 in more than 70 places across Myanmar form October 2019 to March 2020 at public places, schools, and universities.
Daw Lwin Lwin Myo from MPT Call Center Department said “the purpose of hosting Mobile Seminar is to share the Mobile Phone Technology in this progressing year. It’s about sharing knowledge so that it can be used effectively. By hosting Mobile Seminars, it can be used the right way when using the internet. You will also learn how to use your mobile phone healthily. We’ll share knowledge about internet data losing without using. We’ll deliver a speech to the countryside. Mobile Seminar was started in 2016 in Ayeyarwady and Mandalay Region. We had already organized over 370 events in 2017 and more than 100,000 people came and listen. We will organize with 8 topics for later events.
The topics that are going to discuss are Social Network, Health, and Mobile Use, Using Mobile Data Usefully, MPT4U Application Usage, MPT Club, MPT Money and providing addiction services.
MPT Mobile Seminars were started in 2016 and organized nearly 400 events and more than 100,000 mobile users attended. MPT is hosting a nationwide Mobile Seminar as well as raising awareness on data usage.
