Agreement signed for Tax payment via MytelPay from the collaboration of Mytel and Yangon City Bank

Mytel, one of the telecom companies in Myanmar, has signed an agreement with Yangon City Bank on 5th May 2020, afternoon 13:45 PM for Myanmar People’s daily activities and to facilitate smooth and easy tax payment to Yangon City Development Committee using MytelPay application.
Understanding the government and people’s concerns about the current situation, Mytel has announced that they are ready to support the country in areas needing assistance and will do best to contribute to the epidemic prevention, treatment, and control actions led by MOHS.
“Mytel is always seeking to provide user-friendly services to the public. Today we signed the agreement with Yangon City Bank for easy online payment of YCDC bills using MytelPay. This tax payment service will be available starting from May. With this service, the user will be able to pay Land Tax, Property Tax, Water Tax, and Garbage and Waste Tax via MytelPay. The agreement signing ceremony was held at Yangon City Bank and attended by Mr. Hoang Trung Thanh (Chief Executive Officer of Mytel), U Kyaw Win (General Manager of Yangon City Bank), and U Aung Win Myat (Chief Executive Officer of Global Fintech Company). The agreement was signed by Mytel CEO Mr. Hoang Trung Thanh and Yangon City Bank GM U Kyaw Win, then confirmed by U Kyaw Than, the Chief Executive Officer of Yangon City Bank.

This service is scheduled to start in May and people can pay Land Tax, Property Tax, Water Tax, and Garbage and Waste Tax using MytelPay. Mytel FTTH users will also get a 5% discount being able to pay easily from home.
