World Robot Games (Myanmar) 2020 to be held
Competition of World Robot Games (Myanmar) will be cooperatively held by the Clash of Robots Team (COR) with the leading of the Myanmar Computer Professionals Association (MCPA). This event will be held from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm on 24th-26th January in Conference Hall, Main Building, MICT Park.

The World Robot Game is a robotics competition that has to construct with Microcontroller Boards. In 2014, organizers from the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Indonesia discussed to hold World Robot Game and World Robot Game (2015) was firstly held at Jakarta, Indonesia. Robotics competitions were held yearly in respective host countries like Indonesia (2015 and 2016), Singapore (2017), Thailand (2018 and 2019).
This game has to be completed with over 10 different kinds of games based on Sumo, Rugby, Line, and Tracing, etc. It is classified as Junior, Senior and Master level.

The aim of the competition of World Robot Game (Myanmar) is to be a widespread innovation of students, teamwork activities, analysis on professional Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), cooperation and information exchange through this competition. It will be invited people who observe new techniques on science and technology and students from ICT training schools, educational training schools and (primary, secondary and high schools) of government to this competition. Teams who won the prizes in the competition will have the chance to support in order to compete in international competition.
The age of local level events’ competitors starts from 10-year-olds and such genres of competitions as Rugby Robot (Senior Level – University), On-Water Robot (Senior Level – University), and Line Tracing (Junior Level – Primary, Secondary, High School) will be included and competed by Junior Level and Senior Level.

The Secretary of MCPA said that “(8) members of Myanmar Team participated in the international competition which was held in August 2019. Moreover, he told that competitors from other countries were from 10-year-olds to 12-year-olds, he impressed their country’s support to these competitors and it could be found that parents encouraged their children in this event. He also added that competitors in this event had to compete with their Junior Level – Primary, Secondary and High School. Furthermore, he said that he would announce the reward of the competition only if the event was drawing nearer to hold.
