Compete in Falling Walls Lab Myanmar 2017 with innovative ideas

Falling Walls Lab Myanmar 2017 is a competition in every field and every business with innovative ideas and plans.
These competitions are held only in the technology field today, so you may think that it is not your business.
However, in fact, we are eligible to participate in any business in any department, for example, agriculture, medicine, natural science, economics, construction.
It is important to have innovative ideas and possibilities.

Falling Walls Lab held a competition last year in Myanmar, and women received a prize in that year. Falling Walls Lab Myanmar ‘s winner in 2016 continued to compete in international competitions in Germany, but he did not win any prize. The winner was a Vietnamese woman. The winner of the final tournament will receive the necessary funds and support for your project. There are two stages in the convention, first at the Myanmar domestic level.
Only the winner will head to the German final tournament.
More than 100 representatives from all over the world compete at international level competitions.

Under the support of A. T Keamey, the Falling Walls Lab Foundation started the competition in 2011.
In Myanmar, 2016 was the first time, the founder was an NGO, Fried-rich Naumann Foundation for Freedom – FNF Myanmar.
The NGO organized this competition in cooperation with related organizations, the Ministry of Machinery and the Yangon gallery are partners.

SELECTION CRITERIA/ELIGIBILITY
•If an applicant has a Bachelor’s degree, the degree should not date back more than 10 years.
•If an applicant has a Master’s degree, the degree should not date back more than 7 years.
•If an applicant has a PhD, the degree should not date back more than 5 years.
•Post doctorates and students which are currently enrolled in the university are also eligible to apply.
•The Falling Walls Foundation will review all incoming applications and provide the hosting institution a final list of applications which will only include eligible applicants.

•Higher education, publications, awards/scholarships, languages
•Motivation
•CV upload and breakthrough idea
•Where did you hear about us/ terms and conditions

Every participant has exactly 3 minutes to present – that is what makes every Falling Walls Lab fast-paced and exciting.
Every scholar should prepare 3 PPT-slides: One slide introducing the title, organization, presentation title, and two content slides.

The winner of Myanmar will
• Visit Berlin on 8/9 November 2017
• Participate directly in the Laboratory Finale in Berlin on November 8, 2017 and qualify as one of 100 international participants (Travel expenses and accommodation can bear the burden)
• On November 9, 2017, distinguished scholars from around the world will be awarded a ticket for the international Falling Walls conference that will make the current breakthrough study in 15 minutes each
