Facebook to take down its Jobs feature

Facebook, providing a lot of user-friendliness and functionality platform is about to remove its Jobs features starting from February 22, 2022. The Jobs Tab is a feature that allows employers to post a job vacancy on their Facebook pages with a job description. Page visitors will see posted job vacancies when visiting the page or people who like and follow will also see the job post.

Changes are reported in Facebook’s Business Help Center. The “Jobs” group type will no longer be available and it will be changed to the general group type. Employers will no longer be able to post Job postings as before. Both employers and job seekers can no longer use Job Function on Facebook Browser, Facebook Lite App, or Facebook Mobile Website (m.facebook.com/jobs). Employers in the United States and Canada will continue to use the Job Function as before. They can continue to be able to manage their job applications and view details about all their job posts through the Manage Jobs sections of their page. Job seekers can also view job postings using the Job Function and apply by clicking the “Apply Now” button.
