The Facebook Outage, which lasted nearly six hours, resumed on Tuesday morning, October 5. The outage prevented users from logging in to Facebook and accessing third-party sites.

Mike Schroepfer, Facebook’s chief technology officer, said during the outage that Facebook’s services had been temporarily shut down due to a network issue and the teams are working as fast as possible to debug and restore.
