Games announced at Tokyo Gaming Show 2022

Xbox’s Tokyo Gaming Show 2022 was held for 4 days from September 15 to 18 in Tokyo, Japan. It has also introduced news announcements, and cosplays including several games for Xbox, PlayStation and Windows PC. Here are the games announced at Tokyo Gaming Show 2022 for those who didn’t watch the Livestream.

Persona 5 Royal

A role-playing game, Persona 5 Royal Trailer was announced and will release on 21 October 2022. It is a new edition of the previously released Persona 5. It will take an estimated 103 hours to complete the main story of the game. A single player game and will be available on Xbox Consoles, Nintendo Switch and Windows PC.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is an Action RPG game with dramatic gameplay and will be included in the Xbox Game Pass. The release date is still not yet confirmed, and it will be in 2021 according to the Official Gameplay Trailer. The game will be available to play on Microsoft Store PS4, PS5, Steam, Xbox Game Pass, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S.

Exoprimal

Another game coming to the Xbox consoles in 2023 is Exoprimal. A multiplayer action game as well as 5 vs 5 PVP and PVE Missions will be included. Players must use armor suits to kill dinosaurs and the Artificial Intelligence called Leviathan. Exoprimal will be available on PlayStation4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC.

BlazeBlue: Cross Tag Battle Special Edition

BlazeBlue: Cross Tag Battle game is a Cross-universe fighting game with the game characters from Persona, Under Night In-Birth and RWBY web series. On 2018, it was released on PlayStation, Switch and PC, and will be on Xbox Game Pass in early 2023.

Guilty Gear -Strive-

A 2D Anime Fighting Game, Guilty Gear Strive will be on Xbox Game Pass in 2023. It used unreal engine and awarded the “The Best Fighting Game” in the Game Awards 2021.

Naraka: Bladepoint Yushan Ruins and Chapter 2 Campaign Mode

Naraka: Bladepoint game has been in Xbox since June 2022 with “Showdown” Champion Mode. The newly announced Chapter 2 will be available on October. Plus, a new map called Yushan Ruins is also coming to Xbox in December 2022. Chapter 2 will come with a new hero, game mode and map.

Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Remastered

A popular Ni no Kuni game, developed in collaboration with Ghibli Studio is coming to Xbox for the first time as Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Remastered. It is also stated as a part 1, and Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom will be launched on Xbox Game Pass in 2023.

Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony

Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony which was first released for Play Station in 2017, is now coming to Xbox Game Pass. It is a single player game with an adventure and visual novel gaming experience. It has been launched on Android and iOS platforms in 2021, and also available to play on PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows, and Nintendo Switch.

Overwatch 2: New hero Kiriko

The popular Overwatch game Overwatch 2: New hero Kiriko will also be coming to Xbox on 4th October. It will be a free-to-play game, and will also feature a new hero, Kiriko. Playable on Windows PC, Xbox Series, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, 5 and Nintendo Switch Consoles.

Froza Horizon: 10 Year Anniversary

Forza Horizon is for racing game lovers and will arrive on 11 October. It will be released as a commemoration of 10 years and will be free to play. Great Britain, Italy, France, Australia, Colorado and Mexico maps are added.

Palworld

Palworld is a game that will appeal to those who like and Pokemon and to play open world games. It will be released for Xbox consoles in 2023. It’s a multiplayer open world survival game where you have to collect Pokemon and play.

Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey

Another game for Xbox Game Pass is Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey and will arrive on 15th September.

Deathloop

One of the last games announced at Tokyo Game Show 2022 is Deadloop. It will be available to play on 20th September and has already been released on the Sony PlayStation console before. New weapon, new enemy, and upgrades as well as cross-platforming matchmaking will also be included.
