The mobile data internet in Myanmar was cut off on 15 March 2021 the number of Wi-Fi users has now increased. Wireless Broadband Internet is widely used in rural areas, and The Fiber Internet (FTTH) is now increasingly being installed in other cities, including Yangon. On April 2, 2021, Wireless Broadband Internet was cut off in Myanmar and only Fiber Internet is currently available.
