Mytel shows on public the 5G Network
One of Myanmar’s telecom operators Mytel exhibits the very first 5G network show in Myanmar on 5th August 2019 at Sedona Hotel.

With the aim of having Myanmar to be with developed technology, Mytel introduces and exhibits about 5G network which is the latest technology and will provide breathtaking experiences to the users. Officers from Mytel explained and showed how to use the 5G network and the visitors could try how the 5G can work with the VR Technology and 4K video.

Then, the stunning speed of the 5G network was shown on the stage with 5G functioning phone. “Unlike the other wireless technology, the invention of 5G will provide better changes in which data transfer with very speedy and responses. It’s true that there were changes when every new generation was developed in the past. However, the 5G will totally alter our daily lives and the performances of devices we use. Our dreams will come true and the new digital social environment will be experienced in very soon. And we are very proud of the very first operator bringing 5G to Myanmar,” said the Chief of External Relations of Mytel U Zaw Min Oo.
On 31st July 2019, the event of experiencing 5G technology was held at Mytel office. Speed examination was tested with C band (3.5 GHz). The maximum speed experienced during the examination was 1.6Gbps which is much faster than 4G. In fact, the highest speed in 4G is only 150 Mbps. 5G network won’t affect that of 4G or 3G. The download speed of 5G in one second is 1.6 Gbps while that of 4G is only 150 Mbps.

It has been reported that Mytel is the 5G solution partner with Huawei; then it is going to soar the market with 5G for the customer after its launching ceremony. Mytel’s 5G network will be available at the Customer Experience Center of Mytel at the Myanmar Plaza. Mytel will make an effort to spread the 5G network all over the country.
It has been released that Mytel, one of the operators in Myanmar, will bring better and developed technologies for Myanmar. Mytel will always make efforts to provide sophisticated services for the customers continuously in the future.
