Rakuten Viber partners with Onepay to provide the first integrated digital payment features in a messaging app in Myanmar

Onepay, the leading digital e-wallet, digital payment, and lifestyle app in Myanmar, has announced today that it has partnered with Rakuten  Viber, the global instant messaging and voice call application, to exclusively bring several  new Viber features to Myanmar for the first time.

The new Chat Extension in Viber will allow users in Myanmar to transfer money to each other while conversing in the messaging app allowing for simple and secure peer-to-peer transfers to other Viber users. Via the Onepay integration, the Viber Chat Bot feature is now available to all Myanmar users who will be able to make payments on their internet bills, mobile phones, insurance premiums and multi-finance loans via Viber.
