Samsung’s Galaxy Campus Friends Program to Activate the Dreams of Young People

Samsung has brought back its “Galaxy Campus Friends” program, which has already run successfully in Myanmar and other countries, for every young person who’s always looking for new opportunities to bring their dreams to life and build a new universe of their own. This time around, Samsung will select five Galaxy Campus Friends through Open Your Universe 2.0, a can’t-miss opportunity for young people to explore and share what they’re passionate about.

Through Open Your Universe 2.0, Samsung Myanmar will help young people who love sharing their lifestyle, knowledge, and passions fully realize their life goals and ambitions. Any young person aged 16 to 25, regardless of gender, studying at a university, school, college, or other educational institution in Myanmar can take part. The five selected Galaxy Campus Friends will receive:

  • One Samsung Galaxy A35 phone
  • The opportunity to work together with Samsung
  • A collaboration fee of 2 lakh Kyats per month for a full 3 months
  • A Galaxy Campus Friend Winner Certificate
  • Special privileges, including access to Samsung’s exclusive events

Young people interested in Open Your Universe 2.0 who want to bring their dreams to life can register to compete by June 30, following the steps below.

From the young applicants who submit a complete form in line with the rules above, 20 will be shortlisted in the first round. Based on their social media presence, campus involvement, content creation skills, communication skills, and willingness to collaborate, the shortlisted 20 will get to attend workshop training sessions led by professional content creators Phyopapa Blogs and Lwin Gyi (Do Something Plz), as well as receive a Galaxy Campus gift box.

From there, they’ll go on to compete in a final round of missions, with judges ultimately selecting the five Galaxy Campus Friends who will represent Samsung and bring their dreams to life alongside the company.

“We’re continuing with Open Your Universe 2.0 for the next group of young people working to bring their dreams to life, thanks to the enthusiastic participation we saw in the first Galaxy Campus Friends Open Your Universe program we ran in Myanmar,” said Ko Tin Maung Win, Head of the Mobile Experience Group at Samsung Myanmar. “In the first round, we were able to select four Galaxy Campus Friends to partner with Samsung, and this time we’ll be selecting five Galaxy Campus Friends, continuing our effort to create opportunities for young people.”
