Shwe Bite, an app for ordering home-made dishes

Shwe Bite application is a system that will deliver the dishes self-prepared by homemakers to the doorstep for those longing for home-made dishes. For the ones who don’t want to get up early to prepare for lunch boxes, Shwe Bite will also deliver their desired destinations before lunchtime. Among the various types of dishes from Shwe Bite, one can choose his desired main dish and side dish. As the price is only around 2000 Kyats, one can have delicious dishes at reasonable prices. Otherwise, for those who want to have a variety, they can choose three dishes also. Moreover, it is more convenient for the customers ordering in monthly-basis as they will have better pricing.

There are four main homemakers cooking in Shwe Bite. All of them can be found on the Application’s “Homemakers” page, altogether with their name, types of dishes, minimum order quantity, available dishes, and their photos. The purpose of cooking of all those homemakers is to make money while doing the thing they love, to cook and prepare dishes. Therefore, consumers will surely get a chance to enjoy the delicious dishes full of loving kindness. That is the reason why the author likes Shwe Bite. As housewives can have not only job opportunities but also a chance to do their hobby while staying at home, the strengths, and abilities of Myanmar women can also be seen through this app.

To order home-made meals & dishes, Shwe Bite Application needs to be downloaded.
To order dishes –
- On the pages “Dishes” or “Homemakers”, select the dish you like. After choosing, a square block with a rice-box shape will be shown. If your chosen dish is a side dish, you will find a green tick in the place “Side Dish”
- Then, select the red plus sign and choose the remaining dish. After the two dishes are chosen, space below is for rice.
- The two dishes you have chosen will be shown at the bottom. Carefully check and choose the desired order quantity. Then, total no. of order quantity and delivery fees will be calculated and the total cost will be shown at once.
- After these steps, select the button “To order”. In the order details page, fill order date, township, full address, name, phone number and select the button “To confirm the order”.
Please note that orders can’t be done within the same day. Orders need to be done before 4 pm, one day prior to the desired order date. Only weekdays are available for order. In weekends, orders will be unavailable. If you order today, the dishes will be delivered to you between the next morning at 11 AM and 12 PM.
