OPPO INNO Day 2022: Advancing a Better Future with New Technologies and Full-Fledged Innovations

OPPO’s annual technology showcase, OPPO INNO Day 2022, was held with a live online broadcast. Centered on the theme “Empowering a Better Future,” the event saw OPPO present its Smart Initiatives — four firm commitments spanning Smart Entertainment, Smart Productivity, Smart Health, and Smart Learning — aimed at building a future where everyone can fully share in its benefits.

Smart Health Technology, one of the four Smart Initiatives, is an area OPPO has already been investing in.

The OHealth H1

At the OPPO INNO Day 2022 technology showcase, OPPO unveiled the OHealth H1 Family Health Monitor, the first product under the OHealth brand.

Designed as a health device for the whole family, the OHealth H1 packs six health functions into a single device: blood oxygen measurement, ECG, heart and lung measurement, heart rate, body temperature, and sleep tracking. Thanks to its precise sensors and advanced health-related calculations, the OHealth H1 health monitor can help look after the health of the user and their entire family. Unlike traditional health devices, it weighs just 95g, making it exceptionally light, and comes in an egg-shaped design with smooth, rounded edges.

MariSilicon Y Bluetooth Audio SoC

Following MariSilicon X, OPPO’s first self-developed imaging NPU, the company used the showcase to unveil the all-new MariSilicon Y Bluetooth Audio SoC, the second chip in the MariSilicon family. Built with proprietary technology that can expand Bluetooth bandwidth by up to 50%, it also introduced the MariSilicon Y Pro Bluetooth Pack, one of the first SoCs to use advanced N6RF process technology.

MariSilicon Y is equipped with an NPU capable of 590 GOPS using a special ULLC codec technology, delivering exceptionally clear audio up to 24-bit/192kHz. It also closes the experience gap between wireless and wired audio quality, bringing a range of new audio experiences. With MariSilicon Y, users of wireless Bluetooth earbuds and headphones will be able to enjoy top-tier digital audio quality.

OPPO Air Glass 2

At the showcase, OPPO also introduced its latest Assisted Reality glasses, the OPPO Air Glass 2. Weighing just 38g, the OPPO Air Glass 2 is exceptionally light and built with a rugged design, and is fitted with the world’s first SRG diffractive waveguide lens developed by OPPO. These lenses can be adjusted to match the user’s vision and customized to their preference, letting them sit flush with regular prescription glasses just as they normally would. The OPPO Air Glass 2 supports making phone calls, real-time translation, location-based navigation, and converting speech to text for those who are hard of hearing, along with many other advanced experiences. The new OPPO Air Glass 2 is meant to showcase the full range of possibilities for human-machine collaboration, and to put OPPO’s technological breakthroughs across its four Smart Initiatives on display.

When we face challenges like those we’re currently seeing in the technology space, the only way forward is to keep innovating and keep breaking into new territory.
