Ooredoo Myanmar has donated emergency food supplies to 1,000 households affected by the flooding in Bilin Township, Mon State, caused by heavy monsoon rains.

To meet the immediate needs of people affected by the flooding in Bilin Township, Mon State, Ooredoo donated basic food supplies including 1,000 bags of rice, 4,000 cans of fish, and 2,000 packets of instant noodles to more than 1,000 households. Ooredoo Myanmar’s team in Mon State personally delivered these relief supplies to the flood-affected households.
“Our Ooredoo Myanmar team members in Mon State personally traveled to deliver emergency food supplies to households affected by the heavy rains and flooding in Bilin Township. When we face natural disasters like this, we do what we can to support communities with basic food, drinking water, medicine, and healthcare supplies, both during the emergency period and during recovery, and we will continue to provide support wherever it’s needed for the people of Myanmar,” said U Tin Naing Htoo, Head of Corporate Communications at Ooredoo Myanmar.
As part of its ongoing CSR efforts to support the people of Myanmar, Ooredoo Myanmar has provided emergency assistance such as food and medicine, as well as support for reconstruction efforts, whenever the country has faced natural disasters. Recently, during Cyclone Mocha, Ooredoo Myanmar also provided free communication services along with basic food supplies and shelter materials to cyclone-affected residents during the emergency period. Ooredoo Myanmar will continue to provide the best possible support to the people of Myanmar through its various CSR programs.
