A Portrait Camera That Comes Even Closer to DSLR-Quality Portraits
Since it launched, the Reno Series has been known for its portrait camera. From the very first Reno Series, it came with a digital zoom feature that could zoom up to 10x, and features like AI Color Portrait and Bokeh Flare Portrait became quite well known and popular. The upcoming Reno11 Series takes things further by upgrading from digital zoom to 2x optical zoom.
As technology has advanced, users have come to want an upgraded portrait camera, and that’s why the Reno11 5G was created with 2x optical telephoto portrait, delivering DSLR-quality portraits and giving users a whole new experience. The Reno11 5G’s portrait camera includes a 32MP telephoto portrait camera built around the flagship Sony IMX709 sensor. While a typical DSLR camera has a focal length of 50mm, the Reno11 5G’s portrait camera reaches a focal length of 47mm, giving it the advantage of capturing studio-quality portraits. On top of that, its Golden Focal Length lets you freely choose your focal length when shooting portraits, so along with sharp, high-quality results, the Portrait Expert Engine’s detailed processing makes the subject’s face look naturally more beautiful and clear, while keeping the background sharp and well-defined.
With digital zoom, image quality tends to drop to some degree as you zoom in, and lighting can make things blurrier, but the new optical zoom on the Reno11 5G keeps image quality intact no matter how far you zoom, while beautifully blurring the background. This gives the subject in the foreground a sense of 3D depth, and compared to digital zoom, the difference in clarity is clearly noticeable. The OPPO Reno11 5G’s triple camera setup includes a 50MP OIS main camera with a Sony LYT600 sensor, a 32MP telephoto portrait camera with the flagship Sony IMX709 sensor, an 8MP Sony IMX355 ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 32MP front camera with a Sony OV32C sensor — with Sony flagship sensors across the board, camera quality has clearly taken a major step forward.
A Natural Aesthetic Design Inspired by Nature
Beyond the camera, another area where the OPPO Reno11 Series shows fresh, beautiful craftsmanship is its design. It comes in two colors: Wave Green and Rock Grey. Wave Green captures the most beautiful shade of green that appears when morning sunlight touches the waves of Australia’s Emerald Sea, while Rock Grey reflects the silvery glow that appears when soft moonlight touches the rocks of that same Emerald Sea at night.
