Ooredoo Myanmar, one of the country’s leading international telecom companies, has launched “Gameverse” as its latest step toward supporting innovation and empowering Myanmar’s digitally savvy younger generation.

As Gameverse’s opening event, “Mission 2024” kicks off with a Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) tournament, which is also the highest-paying third-party gaming tournament ever held in Myanmar. Gameverse will serve as the backbone for every gaming program Ooredoo rolls out going forward.

Gameverse — Mission 2024 Program
- Highest Prize Pool — The tournament will award a total prize pool of MMK 70,000,000 (700 lakh), making it the highest-paying third-party-organized gaming tournament in Myanmar. Teams wanting to compete in Gameverse — Mission 2024 can register via the links below before midnight on May 12.

- A Tournament Open to Everyone Equally — In an effort to promote equal participation regardless of background, both men’s and women’s gaming teams are invited to compete in Gameverse — Mission 2024.
- A Packed Schedule of Excitement — Online rounds, including qualifiers, rankings, and selection matches, will run from May 14 to June 9. Matches will be held daily from noon to 9pm, giving both competing players and audiences plenty of chances to get involved.
- Grand Finals — The grand finals of Gameverse — Mission 2024 will take place on June 15 and 16, offering attending audiences a genuinely unique experience.
- An Immersive Entertainment Zone — Attendees at the grand finals can enjoy console gaming competitions, fun MLBB matches, arcade games, and a range of other entertainment options. There will also be a food court on-site, so fans can grab a bite while cheering on the thrilling matches.
The press launch event for Gameverse was held on May 7 at Junction City. The event featured a variety of exciting programs to introduce Gameverse and Mission 2024, including a cosplay segment, entertainment, and friendly matches featuring well-known female professional gamers.

eSports fans can also purchase special ShalPlay Gaming Packs through the Ooredoo SuperApp, launched by Ooredoo Myanmar. These packs offer special data rates for playing games like Mobile Legends and PUBG Mobile more affordably. Honor of Kings has also now been added to the ShalPlay Gaming Pack lineup.
