ATOM engages with a consulting firm to work on Human Rights Action Plan

ATOM engages the services of a globally reputed consulting firm that is made up of a women-led team of experts on human rights to support in reviewing and developing of a Human Rights Action Plan.

As an initial step, the engaged human rights firm will conduct a Human Rights risks review and assessment of the business’s various activities and how they impact the human rights of the rights-holders.

Based on the findings, both parties will jointly develop a Human Rights Corrective Action Plan to ensure the business’s commitment to respecting human rights.

ATOM’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Muhammad Ziaullah Siddiqui, said, “We are one step closer to moving towards reforming a comprehensive human rights approach and initiating impactful activities for all our stakeholders, including our employees and customers as well as wider communities. The consulting firm ATOM engaged has human rights expertise and has a strong track record in human rights risk assessment and management, community engagement and consultation to develop a Human Rights Corrective Action Plan.
