Cheque Payments Available via Cheque Drop Box at AGD Bank

AGD Bank announced the launching of Cheque DropBox service at some of the branches and ATMs so that customers can transfer from account to account, repay the amount due in credit cards and loans without having to queue.

These cheque drop boxes can easily be accessed without the need for the Internet. Moreover, since these boxes will be collected daily by the branches and the clearing service will be performed twice a week (on Tuesday and Wednesday), customers can make a smoother payment without having to visit the bank. Photo Source https://www.facebook.com/AGDBank

Moreover, with some changes in the interest rate, AGD Bank also introduced a new term, 4-month Fixed Deposit for the customers. The new rates for the Fixed Deposit (1 month, 3 months, 6 months,s and the new 4 months) are effective starting from 26th of April, 2021. Moreover, the bank will put the effort into trying to make all AGD ATMs online and have cash in them. Contents regarding these will be available on the AGD Bank website.

Cash withdrawal limits are as follows:

(1) Withdrawal from the individual account – 1 Million Kyat per week

(2) Withdrawal from corporate account – 10 Million Kyat per week

(3) Withdrawal from ATM – 150,000 Kyat per day
