Celebration of Foodpanda 2nd Birthday Event with Business Partners and Panda Riders
Many exciting events were held throughout the month of December to recognize foodpandas 2nd birthday celebration in Myanmar.

From the starting of the outbreak of world epidemic, the food and grocery industries have become more arrival of foodpanda’s online shopping platform and by 2021, it has partnered with more than 4,900 business partners. In the time of 2021, foodpanda has created more than 2,000 job opportunities for panda riders to choose their working hours and proceed to earn their income. In addition, with getting over 10 million orders nationwide, it has been able to provide partners and riders to get comfortable for their living and eating by one way or another.
To recognize the strength of the consumer community that has stood firm, foodpanda has collaborated with Myanmar Kitchen, a charitable organization, that is working actively to provide food and clean drinking water where the places needed and created a lunch donation as a part of a benefits program to celebrate its birthday event on December. They donated not only 2,000 lunches for family members in Hlaing Thar Yar but also 4,500 lunches for eight cities including Nay Pyi Taw, Moulmein and Lashio, and also donated 1,500 stationery and daily necessary items to orphans and elderly.
As feedback of appreciation to the riders who provided the front-line service during the epidemic, prizes were awarded to 450 riders who provided the best service and an award ceremony and luncheon were held for 50 Top Riders.
In addition, in collaboration with partners, 12,500 birthday event lunches for riders; Royal-D cold bottles (9,000); 1,050 cans of Gong cha and 600 cans of Ocha were also served for three consecutive days. As a birthday celebration, foodpanda will be giving away souvenirs to the 800 best-selling partners and 120 most ordered customers from foodpanda. To keep customers happy, who ordered from foodpanda app, it also offered special birthday discount coupon codes.

Foodpanda will expand its services to other new cities, which will be able to do more partnerships with partners and customers will be able to order from their homes and support nearby restaurants.
