A new GrabFood Program, a top-rated delivery service with the use of the Grab App is being introduced in Yangon. The event was held on 26th November 2019, at Yangon Sailing Club.

“Launching food in Myanmar is a major milestone in our journey to becoming an everyday app for consumers. This launch brings a wide range of dining options into the hands of users who already depend on their Grab app for transportation, and we believe users who haven’t yet tried the Grab app will also be interested in a simple way to have the foods they crave delivered in a timely fashion to their doorsteps.
“The Grab platform also helps restaurants and food vendors reach a wider customer base than if they were to attempt this on their own. And with the benefit of not incurring costs to set up new outlets or in-house delivery systems, our merchant-partners can expect to see their bottom lines increase as the GrabFood team focuses on marketing & promotional opportunities for them. Merchant-partners, small and large, across the region have experienced the incremental benefits of partnering with GrabFood, and businesses here in Myanmar can expect similar results as well”, said Cindy Toh, Head of Grab Myanmar.

It was reported that Grab is offering a special promotion to try out GrabFood within the Grab app. Use the promo code “GrabFood” to enjoy free delivery (MMK 2,500 each) for the first 3 orders. Besides, customers will also earn Grab reward points with every purchase which can be used to redeem offers from movie theatres, mobile top-up, exclusive weekly prizes and many more.
“GrabFood has many wonderful features you will all be able to enjoy; it has a variety of food options ready to fulfill every craving. The entire team has been working tirelessly to ensure Yangon eaters have a frictionless user experience, access to exclusive offers from our city’s most popular restaurants, and enjoy their meals with improved delivery times – because you know time is important when you’re hungry,” added Grab Myanmar’s Country Head, Cindy Toh.
