Huawei Video Conferencing System Connects Myanmar’s Office of the President and Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the 3rd Lancang-Mekong Corporation Leaders’ Meeting

The world’s leading information and communications technology (ICT) provider Huawei contributed $4000 worth three sets of its video conferencing system and technological services to Myanmar’s President’s Office and Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the Lancang-Mekong 5+1 virtual meeting on 24th August 2020, attended by leaders from China, Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos, Thailand and Vietnam, participating countries of the Lancang-Mekong Cooperation Mechanism (LMC). Photo Source http://www.facebook.com/Huawei

The leaders who attended the 3rd LMC meeting, friendly discussed the corporation projects, analyzed the development of the process, and drew the roadmap for future businesses. During the online virtual event, the attendees also discussed COVID-19 developments and ways to promote post-pandemic socio-economic recovery.

For the version provided to Myanmar’s representatives, Huawei incorporated advanced video processing and error-correction technologies for a smooth, lifelike experience. Myanmar President Office and Ministry of Foreign Affairs appreciated the contribution and awarded Honor Certificates to Huawei Myanmar. “They are (Huawei video conferencing system and technologies) very helpful and thank you very much for the donation,” said U Tint Swe, Deputy Director-General of Myanmar President Office.

In June, Huawei donated their Telemedicine Video Conference Solution to Myanmar’s COVID-19 Treatment Center (Phaunggyi), and University of Medicine (1) Yangon. The ICT provider also contributed the HUAWEI CLOUD AI-assisted diagnosis and treatment system to the Phaunggyi Medical Center, which came equipped with a reliable high-speed connection and very low latency to significantly improve the country’s efficiency in fighting the pandemic and assist medical experts by reducing diagnosis times for patient Computed Tomography (CT) scan results.
