MPT, Myanmar’s first and leading telecom operator, is bringing exceptional career opportunities in the telecommunications sector to fresh graduates across the country, in line with its “Step Forward Myanmar” commitment. By joining the “Fresh Graduate Hiring Program 2023,” fresh graduates nationwide will have the chance to gain invaluable workplace experience while earning a fair salary.
MPT’s “Fresh Graduate Hiring Program 2023” will select 60 young people, who will join a three-month Internship Program starting on 2 January 2024 as interns, gaining hands-on training in workplace skills. To further sharpen the interns’ capabilities, the programme will also provide training on the telecom sector, workplace English, workplace Microsoft Office applications, soft skills such as presentation and interpersonal communication, and technical skills. At the end of the three-month internship, qualified candidates will be selected and offered positions at MPT, Myanmar’s leading telecom operator.
Mr. Naoki Shimane, Deputy Chief Officer of the Operations Division at MPT-KSGM Joint Operations, said, “We recognise the important role young people play in Myanmar’s development and are focused on building up their capabilities. Young people who meet the following criteria can apply for the “Fresh Graduate Hiring Program 2023”:
- Graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the 2022-2023 academic year — B.E (Civil/EC/EP/MP/IT), B.C.Sc, B.Sc, B.A, B.Com, B.Act, B.Bsc, B.B.M, B.B.A, L.L.B.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Proficient in computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong learning ability and a drive to grow and succeed.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well within a team.
Depending on their field of study, selected candidates will have the chance to join a wide range of business areas including IT technology, telecom network management and infrastructure engineering, finance, human resources, brand and advertising, and business intelligence.
