MPT Honors International Youth Day by Empowering Future Leaders Through Digital Innovation
International Youth Day, celebrated annually on August 12, serves as a global platform to recognize the crucial role of young people in shaping our future. This day emphasizes the importance of empowering youth and fostering their development in various sectors. This year’s theme, “From Clicks to Progress: Youth Digital Pathways for Sustainable Development,” highlights the growing significance of digital literacy and technology in driving sustainable progress.
MPT, as a leader in the telecommunications sector, is honored to play a pivotal role in supporting youth development through digital innovation and sustainable practices. MPT believes that empowering the next generation with the necessary tools and opportunities is essential for building a prosperous and sustainable future.
In line with this commitment, MPT recently conducted a hands-on exercise for nearly 200 final-year students from 21 Technological Universities. As part of the 2024 Internship Program, these students were given the opportunity to experience the MPT workplace, gaining practical skills and insights that will help them navigate their future careers.
In FY 2024, MPT is enhancing its commitment to education through the CSR E-Learning Program, aimed at expanding learning opportunities for underprivileged youth across Myanmar. In collaboration with partners like KMD Institute, CVT Myanmar, Soe San Japanese Language Trainer, and Then Toe Aung, the program offers courses in IT, vocational training, Japanese language, and mobile phone services.
