Mytel was listed as one of the most commercial tax-paying International companies in Myanmar

According to the report issued by the Internal Revenue Department of the Finance and Planning Ministry, Mytel ranks the eighth of the highest commercial tax-paying private-foreign companies. Mytel is one of the tax-paying companies among the top 10 list, together with the other top private-foreign companies from the telecommunication, manufacturing, service sectors.

Mytel is actively implementing various corporate social responsibility programs and it is the very first telecom operator that established a charitable foundation called “Empower My Children” Foundation.  Through this foundation, Mytel provides the surgery cost for children with congenital heart disease across Myanmar. In addition, Mytel has been together with the public by making a number of donations since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. Up until today, Mytel has made a total of 240 million MMK worth in cash and in-kind donations.
