Ooredoo Myanmar wins best employee engagement company of the year award at Employee Engagement Leadership Awards

For the health and safety of employees, Ooredoo Myanmar became one of the first companies in Myanmar to introduce work from home practices (since March 2020 till date). There is a 24/7 teleconsultation with the doctor from the ISOS clinic for any medical concerns of Ooredoo employees. When it comes to supporting employees who are infected COVID-19, Ooredoo Myanmar arranged full medical equipment and medical personnel in a fully facilitated quarantine center. Moreover, Covid-19 infected employees and their extended family members got rental services for oxygen concentrators and oxygen cylinders. With Ooredoo’s support, now 100% of employees are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
To create the open and trusting environment, Ooredoo Myanmar has opened several channels where employees can share their suggestion, ideas, opinions – Ask Me Anything channel is created in Microsoft Teams, Coffee with CEO and Coffee with CXO programs, Online Suggestion Box where employees can send their suggestions on different categories such as Leadership, Products & Services, Processes, Engagement, and etc, and Team Barometer which is a short survey that we are regularly assessing the organization health of the team on various dimensions.
According to our 2021 OHI survey (Organizational Health Index) result, Ooredoo Myanmar scores 79 in “Employee Involvement” dimension which falls in top decile in global benchmark which is significantly stronger than 2020 OHI result.
