Ooredoo Myanmar continues to support Myanmar’s Fight against Covid-19

Ooredoo Myanmar continues to support Myanmar people in the fight against COVID-19 by donating oxygen concentrators and cylinders worth approximately 200,000,000 Kyats to the public through charitable organizations to mark the 7th anniversary of Ooredoo’s presence in the country and to show its commitment to improving the livelihood of the people of Myanmar.

Some of the oxygen concentrators and oxygen cylinders, which are essential equipment to save the lives of COVID-19 infected patients, have been donated to Sayardaw U Jortiparla and Friends Charity Group in Bagan and Ga Yu Nar Social Welfare Association in Maubin Township, Ayeyarwaddy Region, and Karuna Mission Social Solidarity (KMSS) in Sanchaung Township, Yangon to provide assistance to Covid-19 affected communities nearby these areas. Ooredoo Myanmar will continue to donate for public use through other reputable charity groups.

We hope this will support the patients in need to receive the vital oxygen support they require. Ooredoo Myanmar and its employees had also supported much required medical equipment including ventilators,  defibrillators, patient monitors, and other emergencies medical equipment worth over 216 Million MMK during the Covid-19 2nd Wave.
