OPPO will soon launch its new A series smartphone, the OPPO A78, in the Myanmar market. The device will come in two colors, Aqua Green and Mist Black, and features a large 5,000 mAh battery paired with 67W SUPERVOOC fast charging that saves users time.

Charging the OPPO A78’s large 5,000 mAh battery with 67W SUPERVOOC fast charging gets the battery up to 43 percent in just 15 minutes, and a full charge takes only 45 minutes. On a full charge, the OPPO A78 can play YouTube videos for more than 16 hours, play PUBG for more than 7 hours, last more than 293 hours on screen standby, and support more than 30 hours of phone calls. The OPPO A78 also comes with the Battery Health Engine, a system that doubles industry-standard durability, extending battery lifespan so the phone can withstand up to 1,600 charging cycles. This means that even after four years of use, the battery will still retain 80 percent of its capacity — twice as long-lasting as ordinary phones.

The 67W SUPERVOOC low-voltage fast charging technology in the OPPO A78 is safeguarded by what OPPO calls Five Layer Protection, designed for smartphone users’ safety. The Five Layer Protection covers two points at the charger, one point at the charging port, and two points at the phone’s battery, for five layers of protection in total. Thanks to Five Layer Protection, the OPPO A78 can charge safely and quickly whether users are gaming or on a call, with safeguards against battery overheating as well as protections related to voltage, current, and charging tolerance, along with other important features.

OPPO first developed its proprietary VOOC Flash Charge technology in 2014, introducing fast charging on the OPPO Find 7. In 2018, OPPO equipped the OPPO Find X and OPPO R17 Pro with OPPO Find X Super Flash Charge, a nearly 50W SUPERVOOC fast-charging system, capable of fully charging a 3,400 mAh battery within 35 minutes. In October 2019, OPPO officially introduced 65W SUPERVOOC 2.0 Super Flash Charge technology on the OPPO Reno Ace. In July 2020, OPPO released 125W Flash Charge, and at MWC 2022, unveiled 240W SUPERVOOC Flash Charge, capable of a full charge in just 9 minutes, setting a new benchmark for fast-charging technology.

The OPPO A78 will be available in two colors that users are sure to love, Aqua Green and Mist Black, with a modern look and a slim, lightweight retro design. The OPPO A78 weighs just 180 g. The Aqua Green model features a Diamond Matrix Design with a simple streamlined look and measures 7.99 mm thick, while the Mist Black model uses the OPPO Glow Design and measures 7.93 mm thick.
