The Galaxy S23 Series has captured attention ever since it launched, drawing interest from experts across many fields worldwide, with a wide range of creative work showing off the Galaxy S23 Ultra’s epic features.

In Myanmar too, director Ko Nay Thit shot the Samsung Galaxy S23 Series’ “Live Epic” advert and behind-the-scenes footage entirely on a Samsung phone. Being able to shoot high-quality video using nothing but a single Galaxy S23 Ultra, instead of professional video cameras, is proof enough that this phone has gone well beyond what a phone is normally capable of.
“Shooting a Samsung phone ad on a Samsung phone is kind of meta, honestly. Shooting on the Galaxy S23 Ultra, using nothing but its built-in camera with no third-party apps at all, was surprisingly smooth. Being able to shoot at 8K resolution at 24fps, keeping focus locked on the key subject even in moving scenes, and getting slow-motion shots that you’d normally only get from a high-speed camera — that was genuinely amazing to me,” said director Ko Nay Thit, sharing his experience shooting with the Galaxy S23 Ultra.

The S Pen’s capabilities on the Galaxy S23 Ultra, capable of bringing epic creative work to life, are just as impressive. Ma Thel Oo, a digital artist well known on social media, drew inspiration from nature’s grandeur and created doodle art using the S Pen on the Galaxy S23 Ultra. Her doodle art even went on to become a decorative feature at a booth in a Samsung pop-up store. That’s the kind of result you simply wouldn’t get from an ordinary phone.
“To me, living an epic life just means living in harmony with nature — something that existed long before humans did,” she said, describing her experience with the S Pen on the Galaxy S23 Ultra.

Nearly everyone worries about dropping their phone in water and ruining it. Most phones aren’t built to survive being submerged, and shooting photos underwater is an even more distant dream. But the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra’s IP68 water resistance means it can not only handle water, but capture great-quality shots underwater too — as well-known photographer Ko Htet Aung Kyaw (HAK Vlogs) proved together with Team Galaxy member Poe Ma Mi Thar.
“Being able to open the aperture up to f/1.7 lets in more light, so you can get sharp, clear shots even underwater where there’s less light. With AI Focus, I didn’t have to worry about losing focus while diving. Some of the shots were actually captured from 4K video and pulled out as screen captures,” said Ko Htet Aung Kyaw. Poe Ma Mi Thar’s stunning underwater photos, shot like a mermaid using the Galaxy S23 Ultra, went viral and became hugely popular on social media.
By making it possible to bring boundless ideas and endless creativity to life right from the palm of your hand — things once thought impossible — the Galaxy S23 Ultra has undeniably proven itself to be many times more than just a phone.
