Samsung Electronics, which has sustained continuous innovation and success for over a decade, unveiled its 5th generation foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Flip5 and Galaxy Z Fold5, along with new tablet and watch series, the Galaxy Tab S9 and Galaxy Watch6, at the Galaxy Unpacked event on July 26, 2023. This event was also held for the first time in Seoul, South Korea, the country where Samsung Electronics was originally founded.

Galaxy Z Flip5
Thanks to its significantly upgraded Flex Window, the Galaxy Z Flip5 offers a usable screen area 3.78 times larger when folded than previous foldable generations, allowing for far more customization. In addition, Flex Hinge technology has noticeably reduced the gap between the two screens when the phone is folded. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy, the Galaxy Z Flip5 has had both its internal and external functions reworked, resulting in clear improvements across both design and performance.
Galaxy Z Fold5
Galaxy Z Fold5 also uses Flex Hinge technology to reduce the gap between the two screens when folded, making it slimmer, more compact, and lighter, while the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy processor delivers standout performance in areas like battery life and smooth, lag-free use during everyday tasks or gaming. Paired with the high-performance S Pen introduced alongside the Galaxy Z Fold5, users can easily write and sketch out their ideas, matching well with users’ modern lifestyles.

Galaxy Tab S9
All three Galaxy Tab S9, S9+, and S9 Ultra models use Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays, delivering the best visual and entertainment experience, while the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy provides top-tier performance. As the first Galaxy Tab S series tablets to carry an IP68 rating, the Galaxy Tab S9 series and its S Pen are now also water- and dust-resistant, giving users more freedom to bring their ideas to life anytime, anywhere.

Available Colors and Prices
The Galaxy Z Flip5 will be available for around 3,595,000 kyats, in Lavender, Graphite, and Cream, along with a new Mint Green color option. The Galaxy Z Fold5 will be available for around 5,659,000 kyats, in Black and Cream, along with a new, expected-to-be-popular Icy Blue color option. The Galaxy Tab S9 series will come in two colors, Graphite and Cream, priced at around 4,619,000 kyats for the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, 3,935,000 kyats for the Tab S9+, and 3,249,000 kyats for the Tab S9. For the Galaxy Watch6 series, the Watch6 Classic will be available in Black and Silver, priced at around 1,275,000 kyats for the 47mm model and around 1,185,000 kyats for the 43mm model. The Watch6 will come in Graphite, Silver, and Gold color options, priced at around 979,000 kyats for the 44mm model and 889,000 kyats for the 40mm model.
