Samsung Myanmar’s “#PlayGalaxy Cup” Stars Battle tournament wrapped up successfully last month, featuring the country’s most popular streamer stars — ICE ICE, Shinelayz, Su Htat, and Monica — with fans joining in to play alongside them. Participants got to live out their dream of gaming with their favorite idols, while viewers enjoyed a thrilling lineup of Fun Match events and prediction games for a chance to win prizes by guessing the winning team.

In the tournament’s opening match on June 22, Team ICE ICE faced off against Team Shinelayz, with Team Shinelayz coming out on top. In the second match on June 23, Team Su Htat took on Team Monica, with Team Monica claiming the win.
In the Grand Final on June 29, the two winning star teams — Team Shinelayz and Team Monica — battled it out fiercely for the championship title, with Team Monica winning three matches in a row to claim a well-deserved championship. Prizes were then awarded: 15 lakh Kyats for champion Team Monica, 10 lakh Kyats for 1st runner-up Team Shinelayz, and 5 lakh Kyats each for 2nd runners-up Team Su Htat and Team ICE ICE.

The display was also easy on the eyes even under sunlight, so my team and I could practice wherever we were. Su Htat described his experience during the tournament this way: “I kept Game Booster Mode on the whole time I was competing, so I didn’t get interrupted by calls or messages and could focus calmly on the game. Fun Match events were also held so that fans who weren’t selected as team members could enjoy playing alongside the streamer stars. Viewers who correctly predicted the winning team of the “#PlayGalaxy Cup” Stars Battle tournament were also awarded 1,000 Diamonds. Additionally, throughout the Grand Final, fans who correctly predicted the winning team and match number for each individual match were selected to receive a Samsung SmartTag2 worth 1 lakh Kyats and a 10,000 Kyat mobile top-up as prizes.
