Applications can be applied for the 3rd time Technopreneur Development Program 2020
It is reported that the applications can be started applying to compete in the 3rd time Technopreneur Development Program 2020, organized to bear out the new generation of Technopreneur youths by Myanmar Post Telecommunication (MPT) and Myanmar Computer Federation (MCF). The press conference concerning that program has also been held at Pan Pacific Hotel, Yangon on December 5, 2019.

The applications for the Technopreneur Development Program 2020 of Myanmar youths can be started applying from December 6, 2019, to January 24, 2020, as the deadline. This program will be held with two stages, the initial selection stage and the final selection stage which will be held in February 2020. The youth teams across Myanmar can participate in the program and the winners will be chosen and awarded concerning the regional parts; upper Myanmar region (Mandalay), and lower Myanmar (Yangon).
In this Technopreneur development program 2020, the winners will be awarded with three types of prizes; (1) Technopreneurship 2020 Accelerate, (2) Technopreneurship 2020 startup, and (3) Technopreneurship idea.
Winners will be announced on February 24, 2020, and Accelerate Award winner and Startup Award winner will be given supports, not only cash but also things like starting a company as a new business. Besides, they will get the chance to use a room as the office place at Kanung Hub Incubation Center without any charges and during that period, they will be taught and trained closely by experts and the successful ones in Myanmar business field to improve economic thoughts.

The chairman of Myanmar Computer Federation (MCF), U Min Zayyar Hlaing said “it won’t be necessary to mention that the ICT innovation is very important to develop the economic category and the country. We aim to give the connection between entrepreneur teams in Myanmar country and to give actions to improve the new local potential entrepreneurship in technological skills for reaching out and getting in touch with the change of the fourth industrial revolution along with the digital economic development. By cooperating with MPT like this, we believe that our aim will be successful.”
MPT and MCF have been processing Youths Technopreneur Development Program since 2017. The winners from the previous competition were Blue Frogs Co., Ltd (teaching Karin dialect using AR technology), Idea Capsule Co., Ltd (the application that can buy lottery tickets online) and KLENIC Myanmar Co., Ltd (giving low-cost healthcare service through Dr.Kyaw mobile application).
