We are pleased to support this initiative as we believe in the power of technology to improve digital literacy across the country. This program is part of our endeavor to improve the competence and digital skills of the communities. In line with Ooredoo Myanmar’s Vison of “Enriching People’s Digital Lives” in Myanmar, we not only provide digital services but also possibilities for development.”
Since the beginning of the program, Ooredoo Myanmar has provided digital devices and connectivity; it has supported 55 libraries in 2014, 90 libraries in 2016, 150 libraries in 2018, and 210 libraries in 2021, and extended to 250 libraries in 2022.
Between February 2015 and May 2022, over 796,749 people visited digital libraries and more than 240,592 people have developed their digital literacy abilities. These transformed digital libraries enabled 55% of the visitors to access news or learning opportunities, 21% improved their technology skills, and 24% sought or applied for employment.Photo Source https://www.facebook.com/OoredooMyanmar
