Rakuten Viber, the world-leading messaging and calling app, has introduced ViberPlus, a premium subscription service offering advanced features for a monthly fee. At the same time, users around the world will continue to be able to use Viber’s regular features for free.
Viber currently offers features that let users communicate securely and easily with one another. With the newly introduced ViberPlus service, subscribers will be able to enjoy a more advanced, ad-free Viber experience.
Subscribers will no longer see ads while using Viber, and will also be able to choose custom icon designs, get personalized 1-on-1 support whenever they run into an issue with Viber, and download unlimited Viber stickers, among other exclusive features — with more upgrades to be added soon.
To further enhance privacy and connectivity, the new service also includes the ability to convert voice messages into text and an “Invisible Mode” feature. This means ViberPlus subscribers will be able to read voice messages as text in situations where listening to audio isn’t convenient. With the new Invisible Mode feature, users can read messages without the sender knowing, and can see when others are online without revealing their own online status. ViberPlus Premium Service can be accessed easily through the Explore session within the Viber app.
Features currently available with ViberPlus:
- No ads: Use the Viber app without any ads
- Voice-to-text: Convert incoming voice messages into text
- Unlimited Viber stickers: Download paid Viber Sticker Packs for free
- Custom app icons: Change your mobile or desktop Viber app icon design to themes such as Unicorn, Night, or Sparkle
- Live Support: Get help related to the service anytime with just one tap via Live Support Chat
- Verification Badge: An exclusive verification badge available only to subscribers
- Invisible Mode: Read messages without others knowing you’re online
Subscribers can access the new service through ‘More’ at the bottom right of the Viber app. Existing free features such as messaging and calling will remain free to use.

This Premium Service is currently available in many countries around the world, including Myanmar, and is continuing to roll out to additional regions.
