ASEAN Data Science Explorers contest for youth generation

ASEAN Data Science Explorer competition was helding by the ASEAN Foundation and SAP organization for university students  worldwide of Asian.

The respective university students from Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Laos, Thai, Vietnam, Philippines, Cambodia and Myanmarhaveparticipated in the competitions.

The objectives of the tournament are that Southeast Asia is one of the fastest growing regions in the world with a population of over 600 million.

Despite this, ASEAN still faces many social, health & environmental challenges that impede its progress.

Therefore, we invite all ASEAN youths to help shape the future by harnessing data to highlight key issues in ASEAN.

Competition rules

There must be an ASEAN national above 16 years of age, and currently studying at a tertiary institution in Southeast Asia.

Competition awards

As a country level, the First prize is $ 800, the Second prize is $ 400 and the third prize will get $ 200.

As a regional level, First prize is $ 1,500, Second prize is $ 1,000 and third prize will be awarded $ 500.

As for Myanmar, Mandalay Technological University, Yangon  Technological University and Yangon computer university will also support.
