ATOM Donates Relief Supplies Worth 60 Million Kyats to Support Thousands of Flood-Affected People in Bago Region

ATOM announced that it has donated 60 million kyats (60,000,000 MMK) to support flood-affected people in Bago Region. ATOM’s donation, focused primarily on basic food items, water purification tablets, and oral rehydration salts, is expected to directly benefit approximately 2,000 households in the flood-affected areas.

On October 7 and 8, 2023, heavy rainfall caused flooding in Bago Region in southern Myanmar. On Sunday, October 8, the Bago River rose above the danger level, prompting an announcement that thousands of people needed to be relocated to flood relief camps. ATOM staff, eager to share support across Yangon and Bago Regions, worked to ensure relief supplies were delivered quickly and effectively to those in need throughout Bago Region.
