ATOM Marks First Anniversary with Customer Appreciation and Community Contributions

ATOM celebrates its first anniversary, marking a year of achievements in delivering Beyond Better connectivity and services to the people of Myanmar, while actively contributing to the country’s societal advancement.

To commemorate the anniversary, ATOM will roll out a series of activities and initiatives designed to express gratitude to its esteemed customers and partners, while also making substantial contributions to the community.

In its first year of operations, ATOM achieved significant milestones in advancing connectivity and driving positive change. Highlights include expanding and enhancing network coverage, introducing the industry-leading ATOM Store App, delivering engaging entertainment experiences through its gaming platform and campaigns, forging valuable partnerships in telemedicine, finance, and job creation, initiating impactful community support activities nationwide, and garnering recognition for its efforts through prestigious award programmes.

Beyond Better Offers for Business Customers: ATOM will be celebrating with its major business customers by delivering thank you cards and cakes, as well as providing surprise gifts.

Beyond Better Engagement with Partners: ATOM will be hosting celebratory activities in ATOM’s physical stores and will presenting anniversary gifts to channel partners.

Season of Gratitude 2.0: In response to the recent devastation caused by Cyclone Mocha, ATOM is launching the Humanitarian Care & Rehabilitation Programme, supporting by funding of more than MMK 212 million for the first batch of donations.  Through this initiative, ATOM will actively support the recovery efforts in affected areas, providing assistance to those in need and contributing to rebuilding communities.

In line with its ‘Digitalization of Health and Education’ mandate, ATOM will contribute ICT lab donations to two schools, one in Mandalay and another in Nay Pyi Taw by June 2023. This would mean that ATOM has donated ICT labs to four under-resourced schools this year, with a combined value of MMK 58,319,200. By equipping educational institutions with the necessary technology, ATOM aims to empower students with the tools they need to thrive in the digital era and access quality education.
